About

With John Summit announcing his Experts Only Festival in New York, This&That set out to spark his return with a moment unlike anything the city had ever seen. Partnering with John and Lululemon, we created a one-of-a-kind experience that began with a run through the iconic High Line and ended with a surprise DJ set inside one of New Yorks most recognizable landmarksthe Vessel at Hudson Yards. After six months of working hand-in-hand with the city, we secured approvals to shut down the High Line in its entirety for the first time ever on a Friday afternoon for a run led by John himself. As runners crossed the finish line, they were funneled directly into the Vessel, where John delivered a 90-minute set in a space that had been closed to the public for over two years. The result: a first-of-its-kind activation that reopened the Vessel, shut down one of NYCs most iconic parks, and showcased the power of blending culture, community, and architecturegiving fans the chance to engage directly with one of the biggest artists in the world - a moment New York will never forget.
